Every great journey starts with a single step. The coaches at Southpoint CrossFit want to help you with that first step. Our Bootcamp Challenge is designed to put you on the path to a fitter, happier, and more confident you.




In this course you will be lead by our enthusiastic and knowledgeable coaches in a fun and upbeat atmosphere. They will teach you the correct form and technique of several movements found in a typical class, emphasizing proper mechanics for a safe and efficient workout. You will learn the basics about high-intensity interval training and strength training. Each week you will have optional supplemental at-home routines and online support. You will also discuss proven healthy eating habits and how to dial in your nutritional intake.




Included in this course are FREE Mobility classes with a certified Yoga instructor. You will meet supportive and like-minded friends and learn valuable skills to keep you fit for life. YOUR SUCCESS IS OUR SUCCESS!

SCHEDULE: Monday and Wednesday mornings from 6:00–7:00AM (8 sessions per month)

INVESTMENT: $99/month

EXPERIENCE: The great thing about this challenge is that no prior experience is required. As a matter of fact, the less experience you have the better.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must commit to a minimum of 4 weeks. The first week is always tough. We need people who will be here at the end to reap the benefits of all this hard work.
  • Be committed to making this change. This will not work if we want to see you reach your goals more than you do!
  • The energy at our gym is infectious. When it’s positive energy, there’s nothing better. But negative energy spreads too.
  • Leave your ego at home. Hard work is respected here. It is a humbling experience that we’ve all been through.

We have personally seen how high-intensity interval training combined with strength training has dramatically changed the lives of those who commit to the process. This challenge was created to introduce this style of training to those who would absolutely benefit from it, but may be too intimidated to come in and try it on their own.

We are trying to find the right people who will work hard, finish the program, and ultimately be an amazing representation of what is possible through our training. COACH: Jessica Hayden

Jess is a New York native, who moved to Durham to pursue a PhD in School Psychology at UNC with a focus on instructional coaching. She received her Master’s degree in School Psychology from East Carolina University in 2003 and bachelor’s degree in Human Development from the State University of New York at Oswego in 1999. Jess also holds a License to practice Massage Therapy in NYS, specializing in myofascial release.

Jess began her journey with CrossFit ten years ago in order to improve her fitness level for rugby. She received her Level 1 certification in 2008 and competed in the 2008 CF games, advancing to the NE regionals. She coached classes at Nova Strength and Conditioning/CrossFit 585 from 2009-2014. She left Nova to pursue body building and further her training knowledge in nutrition and advanced hypertrophy. She earned professional body building status in April 2016 with the Drug Free Athlete’s Coalition and first place in the International Natural Body Building Federation. She’s currently training for competitive power lifting.

Jess is passionate about fitness and helping her clients achieve their goals. Her approach is collaborative, focusing on realistic short term goals that will pave the way to long-term health and fitness habits to lead a healthy and balanced life. She’s excited to become a member of the Southpoint CrossFit fitness family.
